Patty's Success Story
Taking Control of My Heatlh

I broke my ankle in June of 2001. It never really healed correctly and caused me a great deal of pain. The pain progressively got worse as I gained weight. I was afraid of ending up in a wheelchair. That's why I joined Curves.

I know how important exercise is and I had belonged to other gyms in the past. But I never felt comfortable; they just were not for me. I needed something different, some place where I could look forward to going. That's when I found Curves. It's fast paced, so I don't get bored. I am in and out before I know it. When I first joined, the staff took me through each piece of equipment and explained how it would help me strengthen, and tone a specific part of my body. And it worked! I've learned the importance of building muscle through exercise. I've also learned how to combine proper nutrition with my Curves program.

In September 2003, I started the South Beach diet. The combination of my new eating habits, and new exercise habits have lead to my success. But I could not have done it without the Curves staff. I cannot express the importance of the encouragement, enthusiasm, and upbeat attitude of the staff. They have played a large role in my success with losing inches and weight. The friendly atmosphere of our Curves is fantastic. It's like a big family, from the staff to the ladies working out alongside me. We are all here to help and encourage each other. When I joined I had a difficult time with some of the machines, and there was always someone there to help me, with a smile.

Curves has helped me take control of my health. It's one of the most important health decisions I've ever made. It will be for you too. It's fun, easy, and most importantly, you'll see results. The "Curves Cash" really motivates you to keep going so you can earn your t-shirt. The only other thing I can say is join Curves ASAP, you won't regret it!
